Our History
Childreach International India is a part of the global charity Childreach International, a unique example of individuals and individualistic strive converging to a single Goal.
Started in 2004 as a purely volunteering effort by a few passionate individuals, Childreach International today is a global name, synonymous with being a platform of the children, for the children and by the children.
Childreach International initiated its support to unique projects in northern and western India in 2007. Today, these projects are rare examples of how a little handholding, awareness and confidence building can equip children to unite and actively participate in building their lives.

We aim to:

- Strengthen our government’s commitments and initiatives to Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) - promoting the UN Convention on Child Rights (UNCRC), and be a part of Childreach International’s global campaign promoting child rights.
- Address the root causes of child rights violations such as poverty, illiteracy, discrimination against girl child, victimized and other vulnerable children; poor infrastructure; weak law enforcement and political action
- Stimulate and provoke thoughts of children and prepare them to be socially aware leaders
- Blend public private civil societies in development wheels with measurable, enlivening and meaningful community interventions
